Download Synda from the App Store or Google Play. Open the app and tap "Sign Up". You can create an account using your email address or sign in with Apple/Google. Follow the onboarding steps to set up your profile and preferences.

Navigate to a swim spot on the map or search for one. Tap the "Start Swim" button to begin tracking. Synda will use GPS to track your route, duration, and distance. When you're done, tap "End Swim" to save your session. You can also log swims manually from the activity tab.

Open the Explore tab to see swimming spots on the map. You can filter by water type (sea, lake, river), difficulty level, and amenities. Tap any spot to see details, photos, reviews, and water conditions. You can also search for spots by name or location.

GPS accuracy depends on your device and conditions. In open areas, accuracy is typically within 3-5 meters. For best results, ensure location services are enabled and you have a clear view of the sky. Note that GPS signals can be affected by water, so tracking may be less precise while submerged.

The Safety Beacon is a feature that shares your real-time location with trusted emergency contacts while you swim. When activated, your contacts receive a link to a live tracking page showing your GPS position. If you trigger an SOS or stop moving for an extended period, your contacts are immediately notified.

Go to Settings > Safety Beacon > Emergency Contacts. Add up to 5 contacts with their name, phone number, and email. They'll receive notifications when you start a beacon session and can track your location in real-time through a web link.

Clubs are groups for swimmers with shared interests or locations. You can create a club, invite members, organize events, and share swim spots. Club members can see each other's activity and compete on club leaderboards.

Visit any swim spot page and tap "Write a Review". Rate the spot from 1-5 stars and add your comments about water conditions, accessibility, and your experience. You can also add photos to help other swimmers.

Synda Pro includes advanced GPS tracking with detailed route maps, unlimited swim history, the Safety Beacon feature, advanced water condition data, exclusive achievements, and priority support. Free users can still discover spots, log basic swims, and join the community.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Go to your device's subscription settings to cancel. Your Pro features will remain active until the end of your current billing period. Synda does not handle billing directly.

You can delete your account from Settings > Account > Delete Account in the app, or visit synda.is/delete-account. After requesting deletion, there is a 30-day grace period during which you can reactivate your account. After 30 days, all your data will be permanently deleted.

Go to Settings > Account in the app. You can update your email address and change your password from there. If you've forgotten your password, use the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen to receive a reset link via email.
